Last Saturday we went to the Phoenix Zoo with the boys. It was okay, once you've been to the San Diego Zoo, this zoo definitely pales by comparison! At least the boys got to see their favorite animals though. J.J. loves giraffes, Trey the elephants, so they were happy. I personally liked the giant turtles. haha... Josh liked the rhinos. Samuel pretty much slept the entire time! Even though it was pretty freezing (like in the lower 50's for us wimpy Arizonians...) we had a lot of fun!

Christmas is coming!
Here are some funny pics from last year's Christmas time! As you can see, Trey was more interested in Santa's belt buckle than in Santa himself...lol!
We put up all our decorations the day after Thanksgiving. I like to enjoy them as much as possible before Christmas, but I also like to take them down ASAP after Christmas... The boys are loving all the deco though, now if I can just keep Trey from taking all the ornaments off, that would be great. I guess I'll end up doing what I do every year, putting all the ornaments out of reach, so the bottom is bare and the top is overloaded with ornaments!
I'm all ready for Christmas though, got all my shopping done and it feels good! Actually I was done back on October, I wanted to be done before Samuel came. It's so nice to just be able to relax and not worry about having to brave the stores at this time of year.

Samuel Toa Larsen is here!
And he's so cute! Plus he was my easiest baby to deliver yet. He came out in one push, actually half a push! He was 8 lbs. 3.5 oz., 20 inches long, my smallest baby so far but still decent sized. He had his first doctor appt. yesterday at 5 days old has already regained his birth weight... so it's looking like he'll follow in his older brothers' footsteps and be big.
J.J. and Trey are doing great with a new baby in the house. They LOVE him, are so gentle (for the most part) and helpful. I am so relieved, I was worried that Trey would have a hard time with it. But they just love their little brother and haven't showed any signs of jealousy!
I'm doing fine too, just the normal afterpains from having a baby. Josh is taking this week off work to help with everything and it's been so nice! He is being really sweet even though he doesn't feel well either.
Thanks to everyone who voted in my poll! Obviously we chose to go with Samuel. We changed the last name a little to "Toa" because that means "warrior" in Samoan. That way I can save the name Jordan in case we're crazy enough to try for another boy! (haha...)

Potty Training Sucks
Had my weekly dr. appt., everything is still good for me to be induced on Thursday, if I don't go into labor before then! I hope I can hold out till Thursday though...
I had to put Trey back in diapers. I know it's not good to do that after you've already started potty training them, but after two months cleaning up messes and practically no progress and being 9 mos. pregnant and about to have a newborn to take care of...I'm giving up. (for now) I figure better to have more diapers to change than having to clean up messes every day.

Procrastinating...
What were you doing 10 years ago?
In my 1st semester at BYU
What were you doing 5 years ago?
Working at HomeBase Youth Services and hating it
One Year Ago?
Trying to decide if we should have another baby.
Yesterday?
The usual mom stuff, and hoping Josh and my dad could fix our garage door so we wouldn't have to spend a bunch of money to have it fixed. (they did it!!)
5 snacks that I enjoy. . .
1. Cookies
2. Manzanita Sol soda
3. Sesame Sticks
4. French Fries and a Frosty
5. Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly on Saltines
Five things I would do with a million dollars...
1. Buy a bigger house
2. pay off van and buy Josh a car he likes
3. go on a honeymoon (we never did go on one)
4. pay off ours and both parents debts
5. invest
Five places I would run away to. . .
1. Hawaii
2. Oregon
3. Colorado
4. Washington
5. Somewhere nice and cool
Five TV shows I like...in no particular order
1. The Office
2. Law and Order SVU
3. Grey's Anatomy
4. Desperate Housewives
5. Survivor
Five things I hate...
1. people who clip their fingernails in public, I hate the sound period, but especially in public places
2. sound of cracking knuckles or necks
3. waking up early
4. seafood
5. being huge and pregnant and useless when there's so much to be done

Induction Date!
Had another doctor appt. today since Friday I have jury duty (yay). I am getting induced Thursday, October 18th! So two weeks from tomorrow...wow, I don't feel ready yet! Josh and I took a tour of the new hospital last night and it is so nice! Huge rooms, flat screen TVs, internet hookups in each room, room service, you can order movies and have them charged to the room, they even have something called "the Japanese room" with a spa tub where you can go relax during labor if you want. I feel like I'm going to a hotel, not a hospital! lol

Turn Baby, Turn!!
So yesterday I had my weekly dr. appt., since I'm now 36 weeks pregnant (woohoo!) and found out that my little boy is breech, double footling breech to be exact. Dr. wants to do a C-section at 38 1/2 weeks if baby boy does not turn by then, because if my water happens to break beforehand on its own...than one or more of the baby's feet will just pop out right then. Freaky right? Yeah, I think so too.
I DO NOT want a C-section, so I've been looking online and doing all these crazy things to try to get the baby to turn on his own. Like...laying at an angle with my hips up above my head, and putting a frozen bag of veggies up near where his head is. Supposedly the baby will not like the cold by his head, and flip around to get away from the cold. It all sounds kind of hokey to me, but I'm willing to try almost anything!
Wish me luck!
